The Automatic Transfer Switch is a reliable switching device that supplies redundant power to other connected devices. In a situation whereby the primary power source becomes faulty, the ATS will seamlessly switch to a secondary power source automatically. For example, if you have 2 UPS modules configured as a redundant solution and one fails, the ATS automatically switches to the other UPS without power interruption.

The ATS comes in two types; Basic (IVM-08161RU), Intelligent (IVM-0816i1RU)

Main Functions:

• Switching between two power sources, A & B, with a transfer time of 10≤16ms. This is done automatically but can also be remotely and manually via LAN or WAN (intelligent type only).
• Automatic alarming: A threshold of the total load current can be set by the user and if exceeded, the device will automatically issue warnings via E-mail and Telephone (intelligent type only – IVM 0816i1RU) as well as Buzz and Flash alarming.
